Steroid PolicySteroid policy in sport has been tightened recent years, especially the professional sport of baseball. Tougher steroid policy has been sort after when players are getting tested positive on anabolic steroids. The problem lies not just with the health issues but also the quality and integrity of the sport. Any competition that uses steroids is considered cheating,

 

Now with the new steroid policy in placed for the major baseball league, players will think twice before even thinking of taking steroids. In the new steroid policy, the penalty does give a real pain in the butt when a player is caught. Under then new steroid policy, when a player is detected for the first time for using steroids, we will be suspended for 50 games without pay. For the second time caught, that player will be suspended for 100 games and for the third time, it will be a lifetime ban.

 

After two times being caught, that payer should have learned the lesson because if he stills take steroids, this proves that he does not respect the game, does not respect the league, does not care about his life, his family and fans and most of all, he does not care about rules and regulations. Tougher steroid policy should be placed in all sports and all leagues. It cannot be tolerated because the integrity of the sport and league has to be protected.
