What is a Steroid?

 

Anabolic steroid is a chemical compound, a chemical group of synthetic hormones, commonly derived from testosterone, that could make a lot of physiological effects including elevated protein synthesis, muscle size, strength, appetite and bone development. Anabolic steroid is the common name for synthetically substances associated to the male sex hormones and it is a derivative of cholesterol. It’s been utilized for years in the medical field.

 

Steroids are easily available on the Internet or sold in the locker room at a few private gymnasiums but buying or having anabolic steroid isn’t allowed without legitimate medical prescription.
