In the world of track and field, Marion Jones seems to be undefeatable. She was labeled the fastest women on earth and could outrun just about any female athlete. She was also the first female that won 5 gold medals in the Olympic games. But all these glory and fame came crashing down when the Marion Jones steroids story surfaced.
Marion Jones was stripped of all her 5 gold medals that she won in the Sydney Olympic games because she was found guilty of using anabolic steroids. Then, in 2007, she was found guilty for using designer steroid called “the clear”. Not only that, she have to return the prize money won during the Olympics amount to 700, 000 USD and the medals. She is also forfeited the races that she participated since September 1, 2000.
